- Is it just me, or are there less polar bears here this year?

- No according to a study by the IUCN Polar Bear Specialist Group 4 populations are in decline.
- well why?
- Climate change is causing sea ice to melt. The bears use sea ice to hunt seals. With less ice they are struggling to get enough food.
- What can we do to help?
- there's little we can do directly but we can donate to World Wildlife Fund
- What is World Wildlife Fund?
- World wildlife fund is a nonprofit dedicated to defending animal populations.
