- Ever since Lucy was little, she had been observant and curious. She was smart, kind and clever. She had spent her days playing with her sister, Hansel and Gretel and exploring the forest. But despite that Lucy knew something was terribly wrong and decided to go look for them.

- After searching for a long time Lucy was exhausted, she stumbled across a small house on the edge of the forest. She could smell something delicious cooking in the house. She was so tired and hungry, so she decided to check to see if anyone was home. Maybe they could give her some food to get some more strength to keep looking for Hansell and Gretel.

- Lucy knocked on the door and a lovely old lady opened the door. “don’t cry dear” she said, ‘I am cooking a delicious dinner, please come inside and I will give you some food’. Lucy was so hungry .and tired she decided to go inside with the old lady. Just as she walked through the door, she heard a little boy yell “stop don’t come in it is a trap”. She looked over the old women's shoulder and saw a cage with a boy trapped inside. Just then she realised it was Hansel.
