The Rylees are a poor family that live in the city of San Francisco. They started living in a small shed or barn. Now they are living in a small camper. They are a family of 6. Jason and Hannah are the parents of Jessie, Kara, Lulu, and Stacey.
After around 7 years of living in the camper, they got the money to live in a small apartment. Jason leaves for work every morning, while the girls walk to school, and Hannah stays at the apartment building and cleans apartments.
The Rylees lived in their apartment for 2 years until they got the money to buy a small condo for the 6 of them, plus their new dog, Squeak.
The Rylees spent 3 years in the condo and are now living in a small house. They got the money to buy a car for Jason and for Christmas decorations. Their life is getting better the more they work.
They lived in their small house for 2 years and then moved into a big suburbs house. They got enough money to buy a second car for Jessie and enough money to send Jessie to college. She goes off to college wishing her family goodbye.
