The Samurai follow a harsh set of rules called the Bushido ('The Way of The Warrior'). There was no book of all the rules, so the samurai had to memorise the rules.
They trained every day, practising fighting to prepare for the worst. Because of this they were skilled and had amazing fighting styles. They had a holster for their swords which pointed up, meaning that they could engage in a fight quicker than the enemy. They used impatience as their enemy
The Samurais armour was a combination of had leather plates and little metal pieces. They also used swords that were carefully made to be better than their opponents.
