  • He might like me back if I ride home with him...
  • We could get into a car crash; we are both DRUNK.
  • We might become a couple...
  • In this diagram, Sophia is deep in thought deciding whether or not she should ride home with the boy she likes, whom is also a drunk teenager. This is the first pro (facilitator). Though Liam might like her back if she rides home with him, there is still a possibility that he won't and he is currently drunk, meaning he is not his true self.
  • He doesn't actually like me. He is drunk and the alcohol is taking over him and his body...
  • In this diagram, Sophia is once again deep in thought deciding whether or not she should ride home with the boy she likes, whom is also a drunk teenager. This is the first con (barrier). This is a big risk, as her foolish actions could result in the worst possible consequence: death.
  • My Dad would be so disappointed in me. Is it worth my pride?
  •
  • In this diagram, Sophia is deep in thought deciding whether or not she should ride home with the boy she likes, whom is also a drunk teenager. This is the second pro (facilitator). This is also a risk, as Liam might not like her back, even if she rides home with him. However, this is not about liking Liam, it is about her safety and making the responsible decision.
  • In the final decision that is made, the pressure Liam puts on me is insistent and very direct.
  • In this diagram, Sophia is once again deep in thought deciding whether or not she should ride home with the boy she likes, whom is also a drunk teenager. This is the second con (barrier). This is a very accurate thought, though disappointing for Sophia, because it is better to be aware than unaware of the possible consequences.
  • In this diagram, Sophia is deep in thought deciding whether or not she should ride home with the boy she likes, whom is also a drunk teenager. This is the third con (barrier). This is also an accurate thought, as it is clearly not worth risking both her life AND her pride just for a boy.
  • This diagram visually shows that Sophia has identified the types of pressure that Liam has exposed her to. These types include: insistent and direct pressure. Direct pressure occurs when you are required to make a decision, either one choice or the other, due to being approached by someone who wants/expects an answer. Insistent pressure occurs when a person will not accept 'no' or rejection, as an answer.
