- "I'm sorry Mr. Immune but your test results say that you have heart disease.
- Let me show you.

- Yippee! We're about to enter the heart.
- Heart disease is the result of an unhealthy or damaged immune system. (Derkins, p 4)

- Cardiovascular disease can lead to heart attacks and strokes.
- Mr. Immune doesn't have many white cells. White cells are responsible for keeping the immune system active and fighting off bacteria. Eating a healthy diet helps create more white cells.
- This shows one artery at different stages. Stage 1 has a bit of plaque. Stage 2 has a bit more. Stage 3 is completely blocked with plaque buildup.

- Mr. Immune has changed his ways. He is trying to eat healthy food. Now he is more immune.
