- Finally, they arrive at their destination. The arsenal is poorly defended, so they break in easily.
- They enter the arsenal and arm themselves. Their revolt relies on a small army of slaves. However, no one has showed up.

- U.S. Arsenal
- Eventually word gets out, and local townsfolk attack the arsenal. Not a single slave joins the revolt.
- At dawn, the US Marines arrive and storm the arsenal under the command of Colonel Robert E. Lee. The soldiers overwhelm Brown and his men.
- Eventually, Brown is captured and imprisoned. His sons were killed.
- Harper's Ferry Prison
- I John Brown am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away, but with Blood.
- He's convicted of treason, and sentenced to death by hanging. He's executed on Dec. 2nd, 1859.
