  • Apollo, god of the sun, poetry, and music.
  • Apollo is the god of poetry, music, archery, the sun, and healing. His Roman name is also Apollo. His powers and abilities are being able to cause or cure disease with his arrows, being the greatest musician, and being able to tell the future through prophecy, a gift he got from Zeus. Apollo spends most of his time in Delphi, riding the sun chariot, or chasing women.
  • Apollo, god of the sun, poetry, and music.
  • Apollo was Artemis's twin brother, and the son of Zeus and Leto. He had lots of mortal wives, and many children, one of whom was a legendary beekeeper! He also had Aesculapius, the god of healing. While Apollo had many children, his childhood was short. he aged years in hours, and stopped when he looked about 20

  • AAAHHHH!!!
  • Apollo is a handsome young god, muscular, youthful, with golden hair and eyes that shone like the sun, and a tan. He had many symbols, including the bow and arrow, the lyre, and many animals, including the wolf, raven, lizard, and dolphin. His plants are the myrtle and laurel trees.
  • The End
  • One myth involving Apollo is "Apollo's fight with the monstrous python." In the myth, there was a Python named "Python" who was harassing Leto while she looked for a place to give birth, and Apollo wanted revenge. He flew to Python's cave in Delphi and slayed him. Python's body fell into a fissure and started to spew fumes, at the very cave that is considered the Oracles cave.
  • In most myths, Apollo is portrayed doing something nice and helpful, but he didn't always act like that. In one myth, a satyr says he's a better musician than Apollo, and Apollo appears and challenges him to a music contest. Apollo wins, and to show the crowd that the satyr's fame is only on the outside, he skins him alive. Not exactly the nicest thing to do.
