  • Act 3, Scene 1
  • It is concluded: Banquo, thy souls's flight, if it find heaven, must find it out tonight.
  • True, my lord.
  • Act 3, Scene 2
  • O, full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife!

  • There's but one down; the son is fled.
  • Banquo becomes suspicious of Macbeth, which worries him. He starts plotting to kill him.

  • The three witches meet Hecate, their leader, and she is angry with them. She calls Macbeth a wayward son, and believes that they are wasting time with him. She wants them to be spreading evil not focusing on Macbeth.
  • Lennox and the Lord talk about the murders and mention how Macduff did not show up to the banquet.
