  • Did you know that physicist and chemist, Hans Christian Ørsted who discovered that electric current in a wire can deflect a magnetized compass needle Oersted's law and the oersted unit are named after him. Are there other scientist that has that achievement similar to him?
  • I have one and his name is James Clerk Maxwell. an English scientist, developed a scientific theory to explain electromagnetic waves. He noticed that electrical fields and magnetic fields can couple together to form electromagnetic waves. So how about Jayce? Do you have something in mind of these great scientist?
  • Heinrich Rudolf Hertz was the one who interest me the most. He was a brilliant German physicist and experimentalist who demonstrated that the electromagnetic waves predicted by James Clerk Maxwell actually exist. Hertz proved the existence of radio waves in the late 1880s. He used two rods to serve as a receiver and a spark gap as the receiving antennae. Where the waves were picked up, a spark would jump.
  • Don't forget about Michael Faraday, He discovered that a magnetic field influenced polarized light – a phenomenon known as the magneto-optical effect or Faraday effect. He also discovered electromagnetic induction, which led to the invention of the dynamo, the forerunner to the electric generator.
  • Wow! These must be aced students from a good school, the only scientist i know is french physist, André-Marie Ampère who first discovered that magnetism could be produced without magnets and inveted the astatic needle.
  • Amazing! These kids are amazing, I can't believe they even know those physics stuff. I can see them as really good scholars and a great future.
