In Norse Mythology there is Odin and Frigg who have a son named Baldur who married Nanna. There was also the God of trickery Loki.
HEHEHEHE
Baldur's presence sooths everyone and take all of their worries away. But Baldur started having dreams of his coming death.
His wife locked Baldur and went to every creature and begged to promise not to hurt Baldur. Once they got a promise from every creature everyone rejoiced. Loki was not happy about this and from a slip of tongue he figured out mistletoe could harm Baldur.
Loki made his brother shoot a mistletoe arrow at Baldur and Baldur died. But there was still hope. Hermod rode to hel himself and asked for Baldur return. The queen of Hel wanted to know the extent of the need and said he needed to get every creature to say they wanted his return.
He went around to every creature who mourned Baldur's death. Except for one who was a monster which was actually Loki who did not mourn Baldur's death. He then laughed as Hermod wept but Hermod realised it was Loki and as he tried to run away he still got caught.
PLEASE
Once Loki was caught with the help of Thor he got tied up by a snake in a cave for eternity. As Baldur's Soul was returned and everyone rejoiced.
