in order to get your full license you must first get your learners and new drivers. First you must get your L and in order to do that you must study the drivers manual and once you've done that you can take the practice knowledge test. another test you should take is the road sign practice test
once you've practiced enough, got 100% on your tests and know what all the signs mean you can then go to a drivers licencing office and take the knowledge test, you'll need to book an appointment first
october
you've passed the knowledge test you are now a learner! in order to move up to the next level you need to be driving as a learner for 12 months and only then can you book your appointment for your N however if you don't feel ready in just 12 months you don't have to move up just then because your learners licence stays valid for 2 years!
after the road test you either get your N or you failed and in that case you can take the test again in 2 weeks. now that you have your new drivers license you can drive by yourself or with other people and no longer have to have a licensed driver with you in the car
now that you're ready you can start preparing for your road test to get your N, in order to prepare for this test you should get as much driving time in as possible with a qualified supervisor. make sure to drive at different times of day, in different weather conditions and in unfamiliar neighborhoods so that you'll be prepared to take the road test no matter the conditions
