- they accused Tom Robinson guilty, he was sent to jail. The Ewells were happy during this time because they felt they got justice.
- Climax
- Tom Robinson knew he was not guilty, so he decided to try and escape and was shot and killed
- Falling Action
- Bob Ewell was mad at Atticus because his life was ruined. He had no job and he had stooped down so low that there was no coming back from that. So he spits on Atticus and treated him that he was not done.
- Resolution
- Bob Ewell attacked Atticuses kids in the woods for revenge on Atticus on the way to a pagent for scout. Jem broke his arm and sooner fought off Mr. Ewell but the kids did not know who.
- After the attack in the woods, Bob Ewell was dead. they were trying to figure out what happened and who did it. Jem was fine from the attack, but he had a broken arm. they found out that jem did not kill Bob, it was Boo Radly who did and who saved there lives.
- they were finally at peace, no case, no threats from the Ewells, and no hate towards them anymore at all. There was no more wondering of who Boo was or what he was going to do if he ever came out. The children wanted to read a book called "The Gray Ghost". Atticus thought it would too scary bu they insisted
