- In act 1 Hamlet is depressed about his fathers death and his mom remarrying to his uncle within 2 months of the death. Horatio and Marcellus had seen this ghost that looks like the Old King. They tell Hamlet about this ghost and he decides to go talk to him. Hamlet finds out the ghost is his dad and the ghost tells hamlet this his step father(cladius) had poisoned him. Hamlet agrees with his father to get revenge.
- In act 2 Hamlet decided to start acting crazy. He wants proof to maeke sure Claudius actually killed his father so he asks the actors to change a few lines in their play.
- After the play starts, Hamlet tells Horatio to keep a look out on King Cladius's face. The part plays where Lucianus kills Player King, and King Cladius immedietly stands up and leaves the building. Hamlet gets the proof he needs.
- In Act 4 Hamlet kills Polonius thinking it was King Cladius. Cladius knows if he wouldve been behind the curtain he couldve been the dead man. Ophelia finds out and goes literally crazy knowing she lost her father and the dude she loves. As she was hanging the weeds she falls into the water and sings until she comes upon hear death. Laertes wants to kill whoever caused his fathers death and makes an agreement with Cladius to sword fight hamlet and have the sharper blade and kill him.
- In Act 5 Laertes and Hamlet have their sword fight. During the sword fight, Cladius offers Hamlet a drink that has poison in it. Hamlet refuses and the queen goes to drink it. She dies. hamlet and Laertes both stab eaach other with the sword. Laertes dies, Before Hamlet dies, he stabs Cladius and makes him drink the poison. That leaves Horatio and Osric as the only survivors, and Horatio to spread the story.
