- Ethan, why aren't you talking to me? What have I done wrong, for you to be ignoring me?
- Giving the silent treatment is a form a manipulation and it can leave issues unresolved. Many times, the partner on the receiving end feels worthless, unloved, hurt, confused, and unimportant.
- He said to tell you that you've done something to upset him and he's not going to talk to you until you apologize.
- Although small amounts of jealousy can be normal, this level of distrust is not. Jealousy becomes a problem in a situation like this one, when the person feeling jealous becomes possessive or controlling.
- WHY ARE YOU TALKING TO HER? Lily is not allowed to talk to guys other than me!
- Why did you hit him? We were just talking about our science project!
- Lily is in an abusive relationship
- I can't hang out with any of my friends because Ethan says that I should be hanging out with him. He sometimes does things that hurt my feelings, but I don't want to leave him because he says that he loves me...
