- WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BLOODY DOG!!
- Stop all this bloody detective work!
- I'm going to find out who killed the Wellington and write it in my book, father.
- I'm going to find out anyway.
- This is Christopher. He has Asperger syndrome. He found his neighbor's dog Wellington with a garden fork impaled in him.
- It's just my detective book. Please don't throw it away.
- I'm getting rid of it.
- What's this?!
- He decided that he would figure out who killed Wellington. But his father didn't like him doing this.
- What is this?
- Where could my book be?
- Dear Christopher,How are you doing? London's been great. But I miss you. Please come and visit me. Or call me. I have to go now but I'll talk to you soon.Love, your mother.
- He decided to find out regardless of what his father says, even against his will. He also started writing a book about it.
- But father, you told me mother was dead.
- Alright. No more lies. I thought it would be better if I left her out of both of our minds. I'm so sorry, Christopher.
- Oh and by the way, I killed Wellington.
- Eventually, his father found the book and got very angry at Christopher. His father even ended up hiding it in a trashcan outside.
- Christopher went looking for his book. He looked everywhere and eventually he looked in his father's room. But when he found his book, he also found something else too. He found some letters from his mother. His father had told him that his mother was dead, but the letters were dated after his mother's death. Christopher figured out that his father had been lying to him all this time.
- When his father came home, he found Christopher in his room. He had been sick and was shaking. He was overwhelmed, angry, and scared of his father. His father was very sorry and upset with himself for not telling Christopher that his mother left.
