Chapter 6 main events Outsiders

- Yeah. She said she felt like the whole mess was her fault.
- Cherry!? The soc?
- We are turning ourselves in
- WHAT?
- Johnny, I ain't mad at you. I just don't want you to get hurt. You'll get hardened in jail. Like me
- Dally tells Johnny and PonyBoy that Cherry has become a spy for them. Stunned and Confused, PonyBoy and Johnny ask questions to make sure it is really Cherry! They both say "Cherry, The soc?!" at the same time, like a pair of robots.
- Sizzle, Sizzle, Crack
- We started it, we started it!
- Your friend Johnny saved you. But he is severely injured. And when your friend Dally put out your fire, he winded up getting hurt.
- Johnny tells Dally that they are turning themselves in. Annoyed and Puzzled by this. Dally loses it. He starts yelling at the boys.
- What happened?
- A few minutes later, Dally stops the boys. Feeling Remorseful and Sorrowful, Dally explains why he doesn't want Johnny going to jail.
- Oh, Pony, I thought we'd lost you...
- Maybe he really does care about me.
- Johnny and PonyBoy realize they started the fire, and there are kids inside! Gallantly and Reluctantly, Ponyboy and Johnny run into the building to try and save them as if they were superman and batman.
- PonyBoy wakes up in a ambulance. He then gets told where he is. Surprised and worried about Johnny and Dally. He finds out that Johnny saved him, and Dally put a fire out on his back. But both of them are hurt
- Ponyboy finally reunites with his family. Delighted and astonished, PonyBoy realizes Darry really does care and love him.
