Danny Sarah and Timothy decide they want to go for dinner after the carnival and they ask Craig if he wants to join them. Craig knows he is running short on money with only $618.62 left for this month but he doesn't want to miss out on some fun so he decides to join them. Craig’s dinner ended up costing $80 leaving him with only $538.62 left for the month
Craig goes home just to find that his phone and internet bill is due! Craig has to pay Bell $119.00 for his phone and internet for the month.
DANG! I didn't know i had to pay my phone this month!
the next week Craig’s friends decide to go to a casino and Craig once again doesn't want to miss out so he goes ahead and joins them. At the casino Craig bets $265 on black jack hoping he can make some money back, but he loses it all!
When Craig gets home from the casino he gets hit with another bill! it's his water and gas bill. Craig has to pay $250 for gas and water. Due to his night at the casino with his friends he does not have enough money to pay this bill
oh my goodness! i can't beleive i spent a months worth of money in 2 days!
hi i need a loan of $300 so i can pay my bills! i will be able to pay this loan off by next month when i get my next pay check
Sure! i can definitely help you with that! also if you are having trouble with money you should try making a monthly budget and invest the leftover money you have or you can put it into a TFSA account that way you can have tax free banking while gaining 1.3% interest on your money while it sits in the bank!
craig goes and gets a bank loan to pay his water and gas bill and ends up paying it. Craig now has no spare money to put in the bank or invest, and has no more extra money for the month.
I have learned lots about investing! I have become really successful after i started budgeting and being smarter with my money! now I can afford to hang out with my friends whenever I want!
Craig opens a TFSA account and starts learning how to invest. He learns that he needs to save his money and not go out with his friends as often as they have different income than him. The next month Craig budgets his money much better and ends up having some extra money. He uses some of his extra money to invest in stocks, and puts the remaining money in his brand new TFSA account. Craig goes on to start his own business after learning the value of money and how to budget and invest properly. He goes on to be really successful and has a very happy future.
