Storyboard Text
The author tries to lead us in the wrong direction by making it sound like the story will end like a love story.
young and so much in love that you practically zoomed everywhere.
"She passed on her way, thinking: He's in love."
The author makes it sound like the main character is in love and harmless, leading the reader to get a false impression of the man.
The author is trying to make the reader believe that the man knows the lady when in reality she is a stranger
'Norma!' he said.
This is foreshadowing the later event of the main character being the hammer murderer
The radio poured out bad news that no one listened to: a hammer murderer was still on the loose;
This is foreshadowing that he is the hammer murderer by hinting to the reader that the man is hiding something important to the story in his pocket.
He reached into his coat pocket and touched the something in there again.
She looked up and smiled. . . but as they drew together, the smile faded.
This foreshadows how she doesn't know the man and that something bad might happen
