- will was left home alone because his sister was hurt this was not the first time but this was different because he was babysitting his sisters pet snake colly
- will was planning on leaving colly at the house while he goes out with his friend jon to see the fireworks because he needed a ride but jons sister was sick.he called his other friends but they were all busy so he decided to just go check on colly and watch tv
- will went to his sisters room to check on colly.will did not see colly and thought he was just hiding in something in the cage but then got a closer look and colly was not there will started to panic and ran to the kitchen
- as will ran in the dark kitchen lightning stuck near the house lighting up the kitchen he could see colly in the kitchen will tried to run out but bumped his head and broke a plate he ran to his room with his body in pain
- he made it to his room and hide under his blanket he soon felt something rub his leg he darted up to see a bunch of baby snakes he screamed.just in time the parents walked in and will explained the situation he was in and that colly had babies
- no one was sure how many babys colly had so to be extara carful will stayed with his freand and wills dad stayed in a hotel
