- Summary: American combat in WWI was definitely rough. Nearly two million soldiers joined the battle in convoys. WWI had the highest death toll than any other war before this war.
- Questions: How many American lives were lost in total during WWI?
- The Americans Arrive
- Summary: Our soldiers were starving and dying by the hundreds. Due to new military technologies and the horrors of trench warfare, WWI saw unprecedented levels of carnage and destruction.
- Question: Did all the American soldiers bodies that lost their lives in "The Great War" ever make it back home to their families to be honored and buried? If the US had not used new military technologies would the US have still won the war?
- A Flawed Peace
- Question: Why did WWI have such a huge impact on the culture and economics of the United States? Why did the Treaty of Versailles fail? Why did the US go to war in the first place?
- Summary: WWI had a major impact on US domestic politics, culture and Economics. End of war brought problems including labor strikes, race riots and lag in the economy due to farmer debts. The Treaty of Versailles was the most important peace treaties that brought WWI to a end.
