- French Travelers
- We want gold.
- We want Religious Freedom.
- Just Native Americans lived in the Americas before Columbus showed up.
- Soldiers from Spain then came and took the Native American's land. Then travelers from France came and claimed land and traded with the Native Americans in a civil manner.
- This is our land!!!
- People then came over from Great Britain and started building homes. Some of them came for gold and other for religious freedom.
- The British colonies eventually became to crowded and people decided to move into the Ohio River Valley.
- The French got angered because they thought the land belonged to them. They were going to fight for it with the help of the Native Americans.
- Then the British colonies were fighting against the French and Native Americans for Ohio River Valley land. This became known as the French and Indian war.
