What?!?!? They are beginning to disagree with divine right? This is outrageous!
As he sits at his desk to begin his minimal duties for the day he reads a letter writing to him by a peers and as he reads he realizes him and his churches power are at risk. The englightenment thinkers have begun to question the kings divine right. Suddenly they don't believe that God appointed the king. They have started to think for themselves. This isn't looking good him.

As he contines to farm throughout the night his exhaustion is uncanny. He starts to question why the first estate gets to be asleep in a fancy bed while he works long hours just to afford bread. He suddenly realizes that the enlightenment is a great opportunity for his life to change, Power from the upper estates are moving into the third estate so maybe his quality of life will change as well. 50% of his money goes to taxes and the prices of the goods he harvest have gone up but his income has stayed the same. This is not right and the enlightment is finally an opportunity to do something about it.
Maybe this whole englightenment thing will change my life. I am exhaused but I can't go home until I finish my work otherwise I won't be able to afford bread for tomorrow.

By nine thirty the clergy member is fast asleep while the farmer will still be harvesting in the fields for a couple of hours. In the morning the clergy will be met with fresh bread while the farmer will wonder if he has enough money to afford a loaf today with the rising costs. The difference between the estates is prominent and is shown in the lives of these two men. Men born equal and but with lifestyles that couldn't be further from that.
