Jesus in the desert
Storyboard Text
- Jesus is baptized by John in the river Jordan and the sky opens up and a dove comes down from the heavens.
- Jesus follows the Holy Sprit in the desert to be confront by the Devil to tempt him.
- The Devil tells him if you truly are the messiah than turn these stones to bread Jesus said It is written One does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
- The Devil then took Jesus the Holy city and brought him to the top of the Temple and said if you are the son of God then throw yourself down. but Jesus said He shall give His angels charge over you and In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. you shall not put the Lord, your God to the test.”
- The Devil then took Jesus to a tall mountain and showed him all the kingdoms and said I will give you all these if you worship me. Jesus responded “Get away Satan! It is written The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.”
- The Devil feeling defeated leaves Jesus to be ministered by his Angels.
