- I know what to do! I'm using my "telepathy" magic.
- This is a synopsis of what Devin's crazy October has been like. Bayleigh had noticed, for a while, that Devin wasn't as happy as she used to be. Normally, she was super chipper, but every time they got together after school in Devin's room her shoulders would just look weighed down and her facial expression would immediately change. She looked as if she had affliction written all over her body. Because Bayleigh felt a lot of sympathy towards her friend she would constantly ask what was wrong, but that question always led them into a dissension. She finally figured out what Devin's problem was-her room was so messy and pathetic to where it was stressing her out. Devin didn't know how to function in a room that was completely dearth of anything cute and fancy. So, Bayleigh made a plan.
- Why are we at the store with that cute chronometer we found one time?
- Because I figured out why you've been so down lately. Your room is so empty.When you get home from school each day you can't help but become discouraged. I saved up some money to buy you some cute decorations and a new blanket. When we get back, we are going to start cleaning and rearranging your room!
- I'm so happy and relieved!! Thank you, Bayleigh.
- You're so dramatic! Hahahhahh! I love you, Devin. And, by the way, I think Garfield likes your new blanket.
- A few weeks later... The two friends made Devin's room their October project. They both bought cute things to put on her desktop and Bayleigh found the perfect blanket for the bed. They also rearranged different furniture pieces by using their handy dandy symmetry book.
