- OH NO! what will Jim think about me? He will say that i look like a Coney Island Chorus girl
- I hope Della likes my gift. She has been wanting it for ages.
- I hope you like my gift dear.Let us cherish this lovely moment together.
- This is Scene 1 and this is when Della just returned home from the hair salon and after getting her haircut and she starts to think how Jim will think about her.
- yes yes you are absolutely right!
- well you can not use your gifts now but maybe you can use them later as you cut your hair.
- This is Scene 2 and this is when Jim had arrived at the apartment and was outside the doorstep and constantly thinking about Della and was in hope that Della would like his expensive gift.
- Oh my dear Jim i did not have enough money to get your gift and i was desperate to buy you a gift to show how much i loved you so that is why i cut my hair.
- But one question why did u even cut your hair in the first place?
- This is Scene 3 when Jim give his expensive and precious gift to Della and is expressing how he thinks about her liking the gift and is waiting for her to tell him that she likes the gift.Jim tells Della that they should enjoy this moment together.
- Oh yes! before i forget i need to give your gift too so please give me your watch.
- ummmmm.....let us just keep our gifts aside as i do not have my watch because i actually sold my watch to by the combs as i also did not have enough money for the gift.
- This is Scene 4 when Jim realised Della could not use her gift this christmas as she had cut her hair but Jim says that Della could use it later so there is no problem.
- This is Scene 5 when Jim ask Della why she had cut her beautiful long and blonde hair and so Della truthfully tells Jim the story and she was a bit worried he would say something bad cause he had questioned about her hair.
- This is Scene 6 when Della wants to give her gift and asks for Jim's watch but Jim hesitates to give it and finally tells the truth and his story about what he did to his watch and Della also realised that Jim could not use his gift as he does not have his watch as he had sold it.
- Oh i see so seems like we both can not use our gifts as i do not have my hair and u do not have your watch.
