- During one afternoon..
- I'll beat you in the dust.
- Let's have a match!
- WOW!! How did she do that?!
- Haha.. I gave you a chance in order for you to get a point! Have fun losing now.
- Whatever you say..
- After the match...
- How.. did you win..? I'm the best player at school..
- I won because I know a lot about speed, acceleration, and velocity. Also, I am not cocky like you.
- When I hit the ball over to your side over the net, that is an example of speed. It's an example of it because it moved a certain distance in a certain amount of time. Basically, speed is the distance an object or anything travels in a certain amount of time.
- I should have payed more attention in science class.. haha.. oops..
- If I were to aim the ball in a certain direction, that would be considered velocity. This is an example of that because I aimed the ball towards the left side of your court, and it also has a speed to it. That is towards the east side of the school, if we were to put it in directional terms. Velocity is basically speed but in a certain direction.
- WOW!! You're too good for this! Please keep this between us ?
- When we hit the tennis ball back and forth, that is an example of acceleration because the ball changed direction and speed as we we hit it to the each other. Acceleration is the change in speed and direction of an object or person. Also, I don't think that's an option haha! I guess I'm the best now!
- Ah alright.. Can we forget this all happened..?
