- Follow me sir I have a surprise for you under ground.
- This way, here have a drink.
- I have to get the chains and the rope ready.
- In this scene the narrator is convincing Fortunato who is drunk, to follow him to go underground to go look at dead bodies.
- Cough cough cough.
- The narrator is leading Fortunato to the tunnels in his basement and he is giving him more drinks to get him drunk.
- Now you may rest and never leave.
- The narrator is getting ready for Fortunato and getting ready to trap him to kill him.
- Let me out of here now.......
- Fortunato is coughing and he is getting sicker on their way to the basement. He is also getting drunker.
- The narrator has just locked Fortunato in chains and built a wall to keep him in. This is going to be the death of Fortunato.
- This is Fortunatos last effort to get the narrator to turn around and let him out of the tunnel. This doesn't work and he dies down here.
