- I think we can now start the draw.
- The villagers of a small town will gather together in the square on June 27, a beautiful day, for the annual town lottery. Children are running around collecting rocks.
- Climax
- Oh no...
- Mr. Summers arrives in the square with the black box to start the annual lottery.
- Falling Action
- AHHHH STOP! This isn't fair!
- Tessie Hutchinson had forgotten that today was the day of the annual lottery. Eventually, she joins her husband and children.
- Resolution
- How's your day kompare?
- Bill Hutchinson got the black dot. Tessie argues that it wasn't fair but eventually proceed to second draw exclusively only to Hutchinson Family.
- Tessie got the paper with the black dot in the second draw. Mr. Summers instructs everyone to hurry up. Then, everyone begins throwing stones at her.
- There is no happy ending for Tessie. After the annual lottery, everyone resumes at their normal lives as if no one had died.
