- Persephone is picking flowers for her mother.
- Hades goes to Zeus to ask him if he could help him take Persephone to his realm.
- the ground opened and Hades took Persephone , and as they where going back down Persephone called out "mother, mother, help me"
- Persephone cried and cried, and every day Hades would try to get her to eat but she refused.
- finally Persephone ate six seeds from a sweet fruit.
- Hades and Demeter make an agreement that Persephone would stay in the underworld for six mounts and then spend six mounts on earth
