Advanced Technology
What do you mean?
It's just like the book! Aliens are coming!
Strange Powers
It works!
Charlie's car works!But Steve's house has lights!Don't forget the kid!Remember the radio!
Alternate Location is an integral part of The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street. At the beginning of the story, it says it takes place in the 5th dimension.
The Problem
It's Tommy! Then why did is car start?Maybe it was Pete! What about the ham radio?
Advanced technology played out multiple times in the story. The meteor was directed to Maple Street because of alien technology, almost as a warning to what is about to happen.
Protagonist
Strange powers are at play in The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street. The lights flickering on and off, Charlie's car starting, and all the confusion are evidence of strange powers.
Aliens
There are many Maple Streets. . .
The Problem is a vital part of science fiction. The Problem in The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street is that all of the humans blame each other, which leads to chaos, and even to death.
The protagonist is a main point of sci-fi because the story is focused on them. I believe that Tommy is the protagonist because he tries to warn the neighborhood of the aliens and their strange powers.
What about him? He killed Pete! Its Tommy-he knew about the aliens!
Please don't hurt me!
Aliens are the basis of The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street. They caused the meteor, the lights to flicker, the cars to start and stop, and even the lawnmower to break. One of the main parts of the story was the humans arguing and panicking, which still was caused by the aliens.
