  • Act 3 Scene 1
  • Dear Gertrude, please give us a moment alone. we've secretly arranged for Hamlet to come here so that he can run into Ophelia. Her Father and I  will hide in the room and observes Hamlet behavior. 
  • No, it wasn't me. I never gave you anything.
  • Act 3 Scene 1
  • My Lord, I have some mementos of yours that I've been meaning to give back to you for a long time now. Please take them.
  • Act 3 Scene 2
  • So how's my nephew Hamlet doing?
  • MIne, neither.(to Polonius) Muy Lord you performed in amateur dramatic production in college, right?
  • After Rosencrantz and Guildenstern described their encounter with Hamlet, Claudius, and Polonius devised a plan to spy on Hamlet and Ophelia. As Claudius and Polonius hid behind a curtain, Ophelia waited for Hamlet to arrive and speak to her. They expected to examine if Hamlet was actually loved sick or not.
  • Act 3 Scene 2
  • Evil thoughts, ready hands, the right poison, and the time is right too. The dark night is on my side, for no one can see me.
  • When Hamlet arrived, he disregarded the presence of Ophelia. Instead, Hamlet spoke about if life was really worth it. When he noticed Ophelia, she tried to give him back old mementos, causing him to tell her that he never loved her. 
  • Act 3 Scene 3
  • I’d better think about this more carefully. Is it really revenge if I kill Claudius right when he is confessing his sins in perfect condition for a trip to heaven.
  • Claudius greets Hamlet but is confused by his response. Hamlet then speaks to Polonius about his acting.
  • Act 3 Scene 3
  • My words fly up towards heaven, but my thoughts stay down here on earth. Words without thoughts behind them never make it to heaven.

  • The show begins, a King and Queen enter. They embrace each other lovingly. She Kneels and resists his passion The King falls asleep and the queen exists. Another man enters the scene and pours poison in the Kings ear. 
  • King Claudius confesses his sins while in prayer and reveals his guilt for murdering his brother, the former King Hamlet. Hamlet realize that if he slays Claudius while he is confessing sins, then it will only be a favor to him by opening his ways to heaven.
  • oh,my crime is so rotten if stinks all the way to heaven! I can’t pray, even though I want to desperately.
  • Claudius admits that his words of repentance and guilt are to heaven, but hus mind remains below with him.
