Sure is a nice day at our traditional land in the Southeastern United States
Yep, just hope no one comes to ruin our perfectly happy life!
1830-1850 was a pretty awful time for the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, Seminole, and Cherokee people
Most were relocated from their homes, and this large amount of different relocations was titled the Trail of Tears
Howdy! We're here to relocate and ruin everything!
And there's literally nothing you can do about it
I'm starving!
Approximately 2,000–6,000 of the 16,543 relocated Cherokee perished along the way to their new homes
Exposure! Disease!
This freaking sucks
Those Native Americans who were relocated were forced to march to their destinations by state and local militias
Only 10 billion miles left!
The Cherokee removal in 1838 was brought on by the discovery of gold near Dahlonega, Georgia in 1828, resulting in the Georgia Gold Rush.
Oh heck yeah! Gold!
Over 30 Million
