- My lord Sir Launcelot: traitor to the king and to me, come forth if you dare and meet your mortal foe, instead of lurking like a coward in your castle!
- Sir Gawain challenged the so called traitor of his father and family, Sir Launcelot, to a duel. Little did he know of Launcelots intellegence, strength, and chivalry. I would not end well for Gawain once he'd made it out.
- Sir Modred tried to assassinate the Archbishop, but was too late. He continued to assail the queen with entreaties and threats, both of which failed, and then the news reached him that King Arthur was returning with his army from France in order to seek revenge for his disorderly methods.
