- Oh my good friends, thank you for coming!
- This rose is five and fifty years old!
- Think wisely please.
- Dr. Heidegger calls four of his friends to tell them about an experiment he wanted to conduct and that he needed their assistance. The friends are Mr. Medbourne who was a prosperous merchant, Widow Witcherly who was a great beauty, Mr. Gascoigne who was a ruined politician and a man of evil fame, and Colonel Killigrew who enjoyed the sensual pleasures of life.
- We look so young, I want to stay like this forever!
- Why thank you.
- You look beautiful Widow Witcherly.
- Dr.Heideggar pulls out a book of magic in black leather and a rose. He tells his friends that the rose was given to him by his fiancée that he was supposed to wear on their wedding day. He asked his friends if it was possible for the rose to bloom. They thought it wasn't possible till he put it in the vase of water.
- Uh oh.
- Yikes!
- The rose bloomed and tells them that the water is from the fountain of youth. He gives them the water but before they drink it he wants them to use the wisdom gained from their life experiences.
- We be young again, we can't stay like this.
- They drink the water and become younger again but they claim that it wasn't enough. He said they had to be patient but eventually gave them more and became younger.
- They all got really excited and Widow Witcherly even asked Dr. Heidegger to dance but he insisted that she should dance with the other men. The men were fighting over who should dance and managed to knock the table down with the water from the fountain of youth.
- They settled down and Dr. Heidegger saw that the rose was getting old again and so have his friends. Dr. Heidegger said that he has learned his lesson which was that he doesn't want to be young again but his friends did. They decided that they were going to travel to Florida and drink the fountain of youth in the morning, noon, and night.
