- Douglass VS Covey
- Event 1
- "Get back to work Douglass!!"
- When do I get to have dinner....
- Event 2
- "Get up and work Douglass!! That cottons not going to pick itself"
- "Yes sir"
- I can't believe he just kicked me. I am so tired of this.
- Douglass was recently rented out by his first owner to a slave owner who was known for 'breaking' slaves.
- Event 3
- "Here douglasss take this root with you, it will protect you"
- Douglas is worked very hard by Covey and is beaten often.
- Climax
- Douglass gets sick from being overworked and Covey kicks him to try and get him to stand up.
- Resolution
- Douglass runs away and meets Sandy who gives him a magic root that protects him.
- "Thank you Sandy"
- After Douglass returns, Covey tackles him in the loft and Douglass fights back.
- "So you came back"
- "I am gonna fight back this time"
- Covey is scared of Douglass and doesn't whip him anymore
- "I am so glad i am not being whipped."
