The particles in solid start to vibrate when they are heated so they expand a little.
HI ! today I am going to talk about what happens to solids when it is a hot day.
Did you know that is why we have gaps in tracks
However if they don't have gaps they will break!
Now! I am going to tell you about what happens to liquids when heated
So ! when the particles in liquid get heated they expand and take more space.
For example on a hot sunny day when a iceberg melts it turns into a water.
particles in liquids move more than particles in solids so, they take more space.
Because of that, the water expands more and sea level rises.
