- Nick Carraway lives in a modest house in West Egg. He is being delivered an invitation to his neighbor's lavish party.
- I thought you might be here, Nick!
- Hello Jordan! Finally someone I know!
- Nick is overwhelmed by Gatsby's house. Guests arrive to enjoy food, music and the swimming pool. Nick is anxiously looking around .
- No one really gets invited here. People just come anyway.
- It looks like I am the only one actually invited.
- Nick is eager to meet Gatsby. He is asking a bartender where he can find the host but he is not having any luck.
- Gatsby killed a man once! He was a German spy! He is a bootlegger!
