  • The ordinary men and women of The United states fall victim to something that doesn't affect people directly until it does. Gerrymandering   
  • In congress on all levels there is a battle for political power to decided how our country should be shaped between the democrats and republicans.
  • Every 10 years a census is taken and that means the apportion for the amount of representatives takes place the maps of districts are drawn up and the political party with less of a percentage tries to draw the districts so that their party can have more power in that state.
  • Each district that is affected by gerrymendering nullfies the voting process and it doesn' speak for the majority but legislation is working on a bipartisan approach to stopping this from happening
  • Court cases in certain states have shown that this redistricting of lines is unconstitutional which starts the checks and balances of the government.
