OK, now I'll need to update my Plan for all the BPUs and help the business solve this stretch.
I'll load the other $6m stretch in B4532 as agreed with the business. These drivers help me monitor the performance, and HFM provides a limited view. Its hard for me to toggle different scenarios/levers whenever I discuss with the leadership/business

Business hasn't performed well in the past few months and have gone above our target...
Well, based on a high level estimate and the last month's results meeting, the business is picking up and I still believe we can pursue the target initially set for the year!
I'll need to prepare the latest outlook. Based on the detailed drivers, it appears we cannot meet the target set for the year...My bigger problem is some people base their forecast only on the recent performance improvement...and I think the leadership also still believes we can even without this detailed analysis.

Well, the good thing is I don't think we have disclosure issues. But realistically the outlook tells us we need to tell MJ we need to readjust our target.
Yes, your drivers are extremely helpful in articulating our risks and provides an objective outlook as to where our business is headed. Thank you for helping us and I agree, we need to inform MJ of our position.

Now I need to revise all the previous work I've done to arbitrarily re-phase the target & stretch across the remaining months, at a BPU level, only to arrive at $192m (again!) and then collaborate with the business how to solve the stretch, which I really don't think we will be able to achieve...

This is just first step to completion, and I have to continuously monitor, explain on monthly performance which is going to be harder to explain, reperform, and re-explain the outlook from quarter to quarter this without a proper systematic approach!
