- We are always getting in trouble, We need to stop.
- Why are you always picking on me Curly. I know you don't like me but still be nice.
- Hey guys i'm Curley's wife.
- Two migrant workers, George and Lennie, travel to a ranch for work after leaving a job because Lennie grabbed a woman by her dress.
- Yes i'm going to give you one of the puppy's to you Lennie.
- Thank you for you kindness Slim.
- Lennie and George are friends. Lennie is developmentally disabled, and because of his childlike mentality, the two of them always find themselves in trouble a lot.
- I feel bad for this dog, he got taken from his mother.
- Look I got my new puppy Lennie.
- Curley, the boss's son, immediately doesn't like Lennie and picks on him. Curley's wife creates problems by constantly seeking the men's attention.
- You should shoot your dog candy. He is smelly and stinks
- I've had my dog for years, no way in hell i'm going to kill it.
- Slim has agreed to give one of the pups to Lennie, he has been wanting one for a while. George thanks Slim for his kindness, insisting that Lennie is "dumb as hell".
- Lennie come into the bunkhouse, carrying his new puppy under his coat. George feels bad for the puppy that got taken away from his mother.
- Candy and Carlson appear. Carlson begins to complain about candy's dog. He urges candy to shoot the animal. Candy says I've had this dog too many years to kill it.
