- Yeah, I don't feel the best, I just ran 10 miles and feel exhausted, I might even pass out!!
- Hey Rob you look tired what's wrong?
- I think I know what can help.
- Great, thanks.But hoe do they work, if you don't mind me asking.
- Grab yourself an energy drink. They can help you alot.
- An electrolyte is any salt or ionizable molecule that, when dissolved in solution, will give that solution the ability to conduct electricity. This is because when a salt dissolves, its dissociated ions can move freely in solution, allowing a charge to flow. So as in drinks like Gatorade the sodium it contains turns into ions which gives you more energy when you drink it.
