  • Hey, guys welcome back to another video with me Arwa. today's topic is environmental issues.
  • So people may ask what are environmental issues.Environmental issues are problems that affect the earth and the environment. It affects the environment in a bad way. Environmental issues affect our environment by it being dirty.
  • Pollution: when gases, smoke, and chemicals are in the environment in large doses that makes it bad for humans, animals, and plants.Global warming: a higher rate of the earth's regular temperature after a long time.
  • Overpopulation: Overpopulation means that the population of a place is too high. Specifically, there are too many organisms of a certain species in a habitat, so the number of organisms living there is larger than the carrying capacity of the habitat. The habitat cannot support these numbers over time without hurting itself.
  • Waste disposal: It is unwanted materials and objects that people have thrown away. It is often also called trash, garbage, rubbish, or junk.Ocean acidification: a change in the properties of ocean water that can be harmful to plants and animals. Scientists have observed that the ocean is becoming more acidic as its water absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Ocean waves off the coast of New Zealand.
  • so now I will be talking about global warming and overpopulation. so what is global warming? Global warming is the slow increase in the average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere because an increased amount of the energy (heat) striking the earth from the sun is being trapped in the atmosphere and not radiated out into space.
