Romeo and Juliet are on the balcony and confessing their love but if Romeo wasn't Romeo and some other guy then their marriage wouldn't be a struggle. Fate is responsible for making that happen.
Juliet asks Romeo to surrender his name, and he agrees, another time fate is a factor.
Romeo has agreed to be just Romeo and not identify as a Montague anymore.
