- This eagle came and killed nearly twenty geese. The eagle then spoke that my husband will bring death to the suitors.

- Eurycicia, the maid, washes Odysseus's feet but then recognizes his scar.

- Odysseus and the swineherd go into town and meet the cattlemen.
- Odysseus eats the beef, but one of the suitors throw a cattle at Odysseus. Although, Theo has a vision about the hall being filled with blood.
- Penelope goes into her husband's storage room and grabs his arrows and twelve axes for the suitors' competition.
