The Tea party started on May 10th, 1773 The Boston tea party was an act that was passed by King George who said that all tea purchased by colonists shall be taxed and all tea should be purchased at the East India Tea.
Allowing Britain to house troops wherever necessary was part of the law of "The Coercive Act
As a result of the intolerable acts the colonists created the continental congress in September 1774
Due to the tax on tea, some of the colonists dressed up as Native Americans and threw tea into the Boston harbor
Other acts include also banning committees of correspondence
Another Act of the first continental congress was colonies discussed to train troops to for any reason they can go to war
