- During the Renaissance, the people focused less on religion and church, and more on humanistic ideas and values.
- During the church reformation, the church lost power because people thought it was too powerful and there were Protestants, which were a group of people who were against the ideas of the Church.
- The Scientific Revolution changed the church by recognizing new discoveries. People believed what the church said but when the Scientific revoltuion was happening, people started disagreeing with each other and conflict arose. People started to question the Church.
