- It looks like there's going to be another storm.

- Help! Help! I'm drowning!
- Rising Action
- Amy! Amy where are you! Amy! Please!
- Long Beach Island, New Jersey, 2012. Jen and Amy are two sisters living in this tourist attraction town. Jen is a responsible 12 year old, while Amy, her little sister, energetic and lively.
- Climax
- When Hurricane Sandy hits, Jen and Amy are separated. Amy is washed away by the flooding, and ends up lost and stranded, all by herself. Dirty water clogs her throat and her eyes burn. Each time she goes up for air another wave washes over her. She comes close to drowning.
- Falling Action
- Jen desperately searches for her sister. The current of the water fights against as she tries to find Amy. The storm rages and the wind howls. Hours go by. Still no luck. Jen wonders if Amy is still even alive.
- Resolution
- Eventually, Jen is able to find Amy. Relieved, she helps Amy up, who is bruised and has many scratches. They rejoice now that they have found each other.
- Amy! Thank Goodness!
- Slowly but surely, they make their way back home.
- I'm so glad I found you.
- Seven days later. The storm is still there. The wind still blows roughly, but the worst is over. Jen is glad to have found Amy, and Amy is happy to be in safe.
