- The boys in the town gathered and made piles of rocks.
- Every head of house grabbed a slip of paper from the black box.
- Everyone unfolded their slips of paper. The Hutchinson's got the black dot.
- It's not fair, he did't have enough time to choose the one that he wanted.
- The Hutchinson's then put five slips of paper into the black box including the one with the black dot. After everyone pulled Tessie got the dot.
- The town grabbed their stones and started throwing them at tessie.
- Tessie is hit on the head and is stoned to death.
