Knock, Knock! Hi there it is Frog.
No one answered. "Toad wake up. It is your pal Frog. It is a beautiful day out and we can go play. "
Frog was feeling ill and asked Toad to tell him a story. Being the good friend toad is he stayed with Frog while he was getting better and worked up a story to tell his pal.
"Oh, no! I lost a button off my jacket". Cried Toad. " I will help you find it, pal". Responded Frog. They searched and searched all through the woods together to find the lost button. Toad became frustrated and went home. He found the lost button at his house and knew he needed to make up for Frogs valuable time so he repaired the jacket and gave it to his pal, Frog.
Frog and Toad went to the river to swim. Toad did not want anyone to see him in his bathing suit. Shy and insecure Toad would not come out of the water to be seen. When he finally did everyone laughed hurting his feelings.
Toad and Frog sit on the front porch and chat. Toad tells Frog this is his sad time of the day because he never gets any letters or mail. Frog returns home to write Toad a letter. Frog is always looking out for his pals happiness!
